Prescriptive exercise is an important intervention in the recovery and performance of our physical therapy clients. Being able to adapt our prescriptions based on unique patient needs is essential when considering the individual impact pain, psychological variables, and biological characteristics may have. The authors of this course lay a solid foundation from which we as clinicians can build upon as we decide how to help our patients move better.
