Course Description
This course provides comprehensive information on the biomechanical and performance requirements for individuals participating in four popular sports played by a large proportion of the population across all ages. Each monograph describes the most common injuries occurring in each sport, followed by the specific evaluation techniques and rehabilitation approaches most pertinent to each athlete. Extensive information is also provided on injury prevention and return-to-sports strategies. Several figures demonstrating evaluation and treatment techniques supplement each monograph. Finally, at the end of each monograph, patient scenarios are presented to provide examples of clinical reasoning skills for the integration of examination and rehabilitation concepts specific to each sport.
