Call for Volunteers - Imaging-based CPG Content Reviewers
The Imaging SIG is calling for volunteers to provide evidence-based reviews of imaging content for new and revised clinical practice guidelines (CPG). This opportunity to help elevate national practice patterns entails providing input to the CPG authors at the start of the development process, and again during the final review phase.
Initially you would attend (virtually) the CPG Launch Meeting to fully understand the scope of the review. You would then review appropriate portions of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Appropriateness Criteria® relevant to the topic, and conduct a literature search from the date of the last ACR update up until present. Finally, you would summarize your findings and provide these, along with relevant references, to the CPG authors via e-mail. The time commitment for this portion is approximately two (2) hours.
After the initial draft of the CPG has been completed by the authors, you would receive an email inviting you to participate in the Selective Stakeholder Review. You would access the website to provide a review and feedback for the portion of the CPG related to the imaging content. Typical time commitment for this portion is less than one (1) hour.
If you would like to be considered for a future CPG review, please complete a brief application and preference form by clicking here.
