Reality Changers

Reality Changers prepares youth to become first-generation college graduates and agents in change in their communities. For our 8th-12th graders, your gift supports academic tutoring, college/scholarship application support, and career and college experiences. For college students and recent graduates, your gift provides life-skills workshops, career advising, and individualized mentorship to help young people succeed in school and launch their careers.

Physical Therapy For All

PTFORALL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity dedicated to helping low-income individuals with financial difficulties get the physical therapy services they need. PTFORALL helps these medically under-served individuals by funding their physical therapy visits. We are a 100% volunteer organization.

Challenge Center

Challenge Center provides extended physical therapy and assisted fitness services to children, adults, and seniors living with disabilities, such as Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Parkinson’s and Muscular Dystrophy. Many people are still uninsured, and most of us are woefully under-insured for the type and duration of Physical Therapy required to achieve optimal recovery from a catastrophic injury or illness. Challenge Center uses the funds we raise to heavily subsidize care for low-income individuals with disabilities to receive exceptional physical therapy for the duration required to maximize their recovery and specialized wellness services for good health for a lifetime; because we believe everyone should have the opportunity the live the healthiest, happiest, most independent life possible.

It's All About the Kids

It’s All About the Kids® Foundation [IAATK] is an award-winning 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in San Diego, CA that bridges the weekend food insecurity gap for children in impoverished neighborhoods. They provide fresh produce, bread, non-perishable food, diapers, and period products at our Pop-up food distributions, through delivery, and at their Mini-Pantries. It is especially important now for kids to have food. They have provided over 3.6 million nutritious meals to kids and their families. Together, we are Feed the Kids.

Father Joe's Villages

Father Joe's Villages was established in 1950 to serve San Diegans experiencing homelessness and poverty and has grown to include a comprehensive campus and scattered-site programs that house over 2,000 people nightly. They provide services focused on 4 main pillars of care: Meeting Basic Needs, Investing in Children, Making Health a Priority, and Strengthening Self-Sufficiency.

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego exists to exemplify the scriptural values of mercy and hospitality by Witnessing the gospel message contained in “Matthew 25:“; to advocate for a just society by Calling individuals and institutions to action on behalf of the poor, the vulnerable and the marginalized; and to acknowledge the sacredness of the human person. They provide a wide variety of services that include housing, emergency food distribution, emergency preparedness, senior services, and much more.

San Diego Blood Bank

San Diego Blood Bank (SDBB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization also operating as Southern California Blood Bank. The Blood Bank serves hospitals in San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We are the primary blood provider to Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego and the safety net for hospitals in our region. Every year, more than 150,000 units of blood provided by San Diego Blood Bank are transfused into patients of all ages, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds throughout Southern California.

YWCA

YWCA San Diego County empowers individuals and families to break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness, and achieve self-sufficiency. We are dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and advocating for peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people.

Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD)

Every year, Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) serves more than 227,000 patients. Of these patients, more than 90% live with low income and nearly 30% are uninsured. When the need for physical therapy arises due to injury or a medical condition for these patients, accessing affordable care to prevent loss of income and the ability to continue caring for their families is vital.

FHCSD’s physical therapy department’s skilled team treats various physical injuries and pain to include orthopedic and neurological conditions, orthotic fitting, women’s health, pediatric obesity, post-acute sequela of COVID-19, and vestibular rehabilitation. Last year, we treated 6,981 patients who called on us to help them get their lives back.  

With YOUR help, the FHCSD PT scholarship fund improves access to physical therapy services for our uninsured, low-income, and medically underserved community members. 

Monarch School

The Monarch School has served as a place of hope and belonging to thousands of unhoused students since 1987. Their unique and innovative Kindergarten through 12th grade school provides students with the stability and security they need to heal and learn. Nearly 300 students attend Monarch School each day and are provided a holistic education designed to meet their academic, social, emotional, and life skill needs. Monarch School is a trauma-informed and strength-based community where students can persevere through the trauma of homelessness that has affected them and their success in education.
